I've wanted to switch from Tupperware plastic to glass for a long time. I read the review and chose this company and glass containers. They feel solid, the lid works well and is easy to put on and take off. I hope they last long. So far, so good. I thought they were bigger, but I think that's the right ratio. Rschunimagu.

The product description says "Dimensions: 8" x 6.5" x 2.7". They are not. Actual usable space is 6 and 15/16" x 4 and 15/16" x 2" deep. Even the overall rimmed glass size is only 7.75 x 5.75 x 2.5". They are nowhere near large enough to carry an average chicken and veg lunch. Very disappointed.

I used them for cooking, but their first real test came when I took them on a hike. If all the containers are the same size, it's very easy to pack. After a few days most of the ice had melted and the bottom third of the fridge was completely covered in ice. They were immersed in very cold water for several days. Not a single drop of water got into any of my dishes, despite the fact that children's hands go back and forth in the fridge for snacks, pushing things around to find the right one.

They are listed as 3 inches deep but closer to 2.25. Even with the lid on, they're only 2.5 inches tall. The dimensions given are a blatant lie and quite disappointing at this price point. Too small for salads.

Totally agree with at least one other reviewer. This is not the size promised - ounces and measurements are incorrect. It's very frustrating to order something like this when you already have a bunch of them - you try to get more than what you have and end up with smaller ones! 32 oz fills containers almost to the brim.
