have arthritic hands and this makes it nice to lace up

Bought these do to having issues tying my boot laces at times. It is nice to pull up tight and then tuck the excess back under the laces. Even work with hook top boots as you can see here. Definitely worth the purchase.

Not the best, but the best solution

My son has autism and a birth defect that causes difficulty tying his shoes. These were a good solution but the instructions were a bit hard to follow initially. They did end up being a viable solution.

Solid black: my feedback

A lot of elastic laces are called black, but they have reflector colors or zig zags of gray…these are black! They are very long and pretty easy to "install”.

Work as advertised but .

The elastic seems to keep stretching and the boots I tried them on did not feel secure enough to support my ankles. Might work better on low cut shoes.

Buy lock laces instead

Product came with broken parts. Thought I would try this brand as they were a little less expensive. Mistake. Elastic laces may not provide the same level of support as traditional laces!

These laces are great.

I'm a big guy with a hip injury so tying shoes have always been a problem. This is exactly what I needed. I bought the first two just to try them out and they work great. I ended up buying another two and changing all of my shoes laces. I'm not exactly sure what the screwdriver is for but I was able to put them on without it.

Probably okay for someone with stronger fingers but I gave up. Made in China.

Round laces are a pain because they easily slip out of a knot and come untied. That’s why I got this kit of laces with springy beads and end clips. After all the work of forcing laces through the small holes of my shoes, I was not able to close the end clips. I tried and tried and then gave up. I’ll get a different kind.There is a diagram on the package showing how to install these. These are designed and distributed by a company in China.

Either too short or too long

Ordered and just put a pair on my desert boots. Positive: They do give snug fit to boots, no tiring and should not come loose. Negative: Followed directions exactly as instructed and illustrated on first boot and it does not leave enough slack to easily get your foot out of boot in fact it is pretty difficult. On second boot cut laces to leave more slack but when you do that you have much more extra lace to tuck in, had to go out the bottom and half way back up. Also in the field that tucked…

Gives your shoes slip on capabilities

These elastic laces work pretty well but forget about the neat little snap on end pieces. Don't bother because they don't stay closed but you can do a loose overhand knot and burn the ends. No problem!
