Description of 🖥️ Cooler Master Q500L Black MasterBox

PATTERNED MAGNETIC DUST FILTERS - The custom-designed front and top magnetic dust filters are completely removeable and present a sophisticated, yet cunningly minimalist, functional chassis facade. VERTICAL OR HORIZONTAL- The MasterBox case features rubberized thumbscrews that enable either a standing or laying orientation with fully-perforated panels for multiple airflow configurations. MULTIPLE COOLING OPTIONS - The bottom panel supports up to two 120mm fans; the rear a 120mm fan or 120mm radiator; the top up to two 120mm/140mm fans or a 120/240mm liquid cooler radiator. EDGE-TO-EDGE DISPLAY - The square edge-to-edge transparent side panel enables a full display of any system build, and includes an I/O panel which can be rotated into 3 different orientations on either side. Behind the motherboard tray is 28mm of allocated space for clean cable management. SUPPORTS STANDARD ATX - When housing a standard ATX motherboard, the PSU is mounted to the top-front of the chassis inside a height-adjustable bracket. For mini-ITX builds, the PSU can be placed in the conventional bottom-rear position for increased front panel ventilation.

No complaints, I recommend to buy.

Good case for your money. All the shortcomings (except for the window) are covered by an excellent appearance and ease of assembly. But it's better not to touch it with your hands :).

Pros
  • 1) Compact (one of the smallest cases for full size ATX boards). 2) Excellent appearance. Including magnetic pads (which can be replaced with any to your taste). 3) Convenient assembly and variability in the placement of pieces of iron. 4) Perfectly blown. 5) Screw-legs (with rubber pads) on the side cover - a cool solution, when assembling the case lies quietly on them. 6) Nice white LED on the button.
Cons
  • 1) Flimsy. Thin metal, coupled with perforated walls, makes itself felt. In addition to metal, the plastic panel with buttons is also unforgivably "soft". 2) Disgusting dark plexiglass (even rather just plastic). A couple of minutes and he's covered in scratches. 3) Non-standard screws for fastening the fan to the "muzzle". You can, of course, screw in ordinary self-tapping screws (it will not be visible under the overlay), but the decision is controversial. It was necessary to make a couple of standard holes. 4) Attachment of additional disks through rubber bushings. I lost them - and that's it, the is connected. 5) The connector for the power supply is inconvenient. Too long angle.

As for the laying cable, you can suffer a little there, but this is understandable due to the small form factor and it is better to have a modular power supply with detachable cables

Pros
  • There are a lot of bolts in the kit to fix all hard drives and SSD very hard acrylic does not bend for scratches did not check it scratches well as they say so it is better not to remove the film to reduce the number of scratches. the back cover is very strong does not bend almost there is a lot of space and hooks to secure everything to the cable
Cons
  • The wire to the power supply is turned in the wrong direction () see what kind of power supply you have, you even have the contact turned horizontally they are vertical

I took it for a non-trivial task: to transplant the contents of a full tower with most components > 10 years ago into a more compact case. In the end, everything worked out, but rather lucky, what you should pay attention to: 1. My atx PSU is 180mm long, installed at the very edge, it blocks the ability to install a video card over 270mm in the top pci-express slot. My video card is 280mm, but I was lucky that the motherboard had a second pci-express slot for sli. According to the PSU…

Pros
  • Really small but very roomy
Cons
  • It is logical that installing and connecting components in such a small case is more difficult than in a large one.

The best price for such a product, I will buy more!

It would be cool if the manufacturer supplied tempered glass with light tinting - this would significantly improve the performance of the case and add additional aesthetics.

Pros
  • Compact, but at the same time, thanks to the presence of a rear wall, you can make a competent laying of wires so that nothing sticks out. Well ventilated, can be used both horizontally and vertically. Easy. Accommodates an ATX motherboard and long video cards.
Cons
  • The only negative for me, as a perfectionist, is the acrylic glass, which will eventually turn into a scratched something. The lower mesh, which can be folded back, is easily transferred inside the case and does not cause any problems.

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I expected mediocre quality, but it was a pleasant surprise.

The case is exclusively for enthusiasts who are ready to think a little with their heads how to do everything, and not just insert the pieces of iron into place.

Pros
  • it is well ventilated, there are dust collectors everywhere, no need to break out the shutters at the back for the output of the video card, very custom
Cons
  • due to the fact that it is not square air from the power supply unit does not flow correctly, you need to put an additional cooler on the hood, acrylic instead of knee glass, after one sneeze it was already scratched

Revainrating 4 out of 5

As such, there are no disadvantages, it is convenient to use.

It is true that the complexity of the edge causes the price of the glass to rise, but it is impossible to create a complex edge on regular glass thanks to the conventional four-screw mounting system. It's recommended for ATX motherboards, however Q300L is a better option for mATX and ITX systems.

Pros
  • A nice package, I appreciate the clean aesthetic. Components for assembly, including screws, cable ties, and a nozzle for tightening the motherboard's mounting posts. A highly full complement of tools or machinery.
Cons
  • Fiber, acrylic glass, one wash and a dry napkin. picture perfect sums up the outcome. While the perforations provide some ventilation at first look, they do not really direct airflow in a way that promotes efficient heat dissipation.

I can't stop being happy with the purchase, a very good deal!

If you have a 2.5-inch disk (either an SSD or an HDD for your laptop), there are four seats on dedicated brackets on the back side of the device. If you have standard drives measuring 3.5 inches, then you can only fit two disks on each bracket at a time. However, because the case and shoulder arms are perforated, it is possible to install additional drives on either the inside or the outside of the device. The investigation uncovered some "creative" solutions to the problem. Despite the fact…

The best thing for the money, I'm glad I chose this option.

I've become tired of the enormous black "coffins" that are under the table, so I decided to get this instead. The case is stunning, however unfortunately it's not very easy to put together. In the presence of turntables of a high grade, components that are normally hot will no longer be hot. I would unquestionably recommend it to anyone who appreciates a minimalist aesthetic =)

Pros
  • Size Dust filters are incorporated into the design. Ease Capability to utilize in a horizontal orientation Ample room for wires and cables.
Cons
  • Problems during the installation of the power supply Acrylic glass, which typically has a typical appearance Motherboard that is difficult to obtain

The item was good, I'll recommend it to my friends.

shattered the panel because they missed the two concealed screws. not enough fasteners for 160mm fans, probably because of space constraints or the inconvenient placement of the components that require them. Thinner, fan-equipped alternatives are preferable to the normal 25mm variety.

Pros
  • ssd bp position fluctuation atx mother board and two video cards for three fans replacement block a body that has climbed both horizontally and vertically
Cons
  • To make more room for the cables at the base of the block, the plug of the power supply extension cord might be bent at a 90 degree angle in the plane. sold individually; soldering required. The placement of the power supply unit in the front leaves minimal room for cable management. Space for fans to blow through the casing is plentiful, but some of them will overlap. cutouts for increased ventilation awkward power supply inputs

In general, I am satisfied, because it is easy to finish the flaws with a file, and compactness decides for me. Under the standard motherboard and components, I did not find less. With its pros: Compact, quite versatile, can be rotated and installed in different ways even upside down. Cons below: I would still add a couple of centimeters in some places so that the power supply enters more clearly. Case material could be better. A video card with two fans has little room for blowing, I cut a…

The goods are normal, money is not wasted!

Has some pros: The drive layout is beautiful and comfy, and the power supply unit may be shifted up and down if the graphics card is on the shorter side. Its cons: It gives the impression of being large, but in reality there is very little room. It was a struggle for me to get the MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Ti GAMING X inside the case, and there was no place at all for dropsy.

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Exactly what I needed, it's a great buy, I recommend it.

Some pros: Beautiful, roomy, ventilated, very efficient and unusually organized internally (it's interesting to collect) Some cons: The plastic side window is quickly scratched if not handled very carefully, you need to be very careful with magnetic removable filters, they easily wrinkle, although the side walls do not bend, they are quite rigid, but it seems that the metal is thin, but tolerable.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

For your money norms. As a whole it is soundly assembled. The metal is thin, but not much, it does not shake, it is quite strong.

Pros
  • Compact for ATX board, looks good, cheap
Cons
  • Acrylic wall scratched out of the box, pre-installed fan immediately for replacement

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

Bought and happy! This is the best hull in the bottom category! The most useless place in the case is the upper right corner, where the power supply was installed, it's just a bomb. The case is small, but the ATX board can be safely installed, very compact. I added three bags, front, bottom and top one at a time, that's it, the airflow is excellent! There is nothing superfluous, no LGBT backlight points! Super, I will buy another one for my son!

Pros
  • Price, dimensions, ventilation, versatility
Cons
  • Did not reveal

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

In short, the case is needed by those who were looking for the most compact and ventilated option for ATX boards and are ready to make a small compromise, like one turntable, a metal mesh on the bottom and glass that is not glass). Such cases are much more expensive from 10 and higher (believe me, I spent more than 2 weeks looking for such cases) I was waiting for this baby to appear on sale and did not lose, I waited for a reason and bought it for a reason)) I took this miracle for 4800, I…

Pros
  • Compactness, appearance, the whole body is made in a grid)) the possibility of any location of the button module (power on, reboot and usb) in the photo in the standard it is on the right, and I placed it from below, dust filters (left, top, bottom) the possibility is so small case to put an ATX board, removable plugs for output ports of a video card and (or) other peripherals, the ability to put 6 turntables (3 blowing, 3 blowing, one from the left side of the case, 2 from the top, 2 from the bottom and one from the right side of the case up to 140 MM ! !) you can even put a 3-section dropsy, but you need to sacrifice one turntable for blowing from the right side of the case), there is a lot of space for managing wires, I don’t know if it’s a minus or a plus, but you can put either 2 hard drives (full-size) or 4 ssd (there are only two fasteners, you can put either 2 ssd or one hard one on one) for me this is enough, but you can cheat and place it not on the ssd fastener, there should be enough space. A video card 160 in height, 270 in length should stand up (if the power supply allows), my ATX power supply allows you to put 300 mm, maybe even 320, I don’t have such a monster, so I can’t check how it will be, and even if such you take the body from you, it is unlikely that you plan to shove such a mutant)))
Cons
  • One turntable is included (although this is not really a minus, they usually shove average quality turntables), glass is not glass), there are no rubber plugs for wire output, a dust filter (lower) is an ordinary metal one, this is not bad but not good either). for some, this may be a minus, but the power supply is placed on the right in the upper corner of the case (but it takes air from the right side and blows it up) in short, this is a normal topic, it does not interact with the inside of the case in any way.

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The product did not cause delight, but you can use it.

For hot components, such a case cannot be taken. Abundant perforation only creates the impression of good ventilation, but in fact, because of it, the fan installed in the case gets 2 times less space for air intake and exhaust, and this is even without decorative dust filters, with them the fans simply have nowhere to take air from. While there was a turbine RX 5700, I didn’t know troubles, but with the advent of the 3080, I suffered with this case, the system unit turned into an oven and only

Pros
  • Small, cute, holds an ATX motherboard, a tall cooler and a long video card
Cons
  • Ventilation, acrylic glass
