Works for me. Just be sure to leave some, but not too much, room for the latch to tighten, but not to the point where you have trouble closing it.

I have used two of these in a modified industrial vacuum cleaner/dust collector design. I needed the ability to adapt and confidence that they wouldn't fail with vibration. perfect perfect I am very happy!

Used to attach the rod holder with the 35" rod. So far no problems. Welded to my project. That'll probably fetch £300 now. It would be nice if screws were included. So far, so good.

They appear strong, I intend to use us as a permanent solution to keep my topper on my bronco such that I can pop it out and remove the topper and do it. to be able to switch the chopper on and off more easily without having to loosen all the screws

These are excellent long lasting fasteners. I hung them on the double gates of my outer fence! They are beautifully built and adjustable. With bolt and lock. A small flaw in one of them that made it too tight and needed a bit of hammering to fix. otherwise I would have given it a perfect 5!

I installed toggle clips between the 4X6 door frame header and the top edge of each door (near the door joint) to lift and align the doors so I can snap them back together. Works perfectly.

I bought these knowing I would probably have to modify them to suit my needs and they worked great. Was looking for something low profile that wasn't sharp or capable of hitting a toe.
