These are actually pretty good!

I don't know why people have complained about this in other reviews. It is actually very well designed and has excellent adhesion. I use it to cool the memory of my Vega64 graphics card and it does its job well. It's well finished so there are no rough edges and the hot melt adhesives do a really good job of dissipating heat away from the component. The heatsinks are actually quite warm to the touch. Technically, I wish the slats were a little smaller to increase surface area, but other than…

Solid copper. Without cover. quality product.

It's a heatsink, it does what it's supposed to do. I examined them, they are definitely solid copper. I didn't use the included double sided tape, but used Sywon Professional Thermal Adhesive Conductive Tape, which can be found here at Revain. Buy good stuff if you can instead of using the included cheap plain double sided tape, it really makes a difference for heat transfer and sticks much better, heatsinks WILL NOT move. Makes great heatsinks for things like this Raspberry Pi. I use them for…

Hot Trash: Computers and Accessories

Used GTX 1080ti + NZXT G12 for Cooling Bracket. They come glueless (which is perfect) and I attached them with hot glue. They fitted perfectly and felt hot before the fans were in place - I ordered 2 more packs shortly after to mod more cards. Edit 1/27/21: My first two didn't have adhesive pads. On the second two there are gaskets (which I will remove), the manufacturer himself decides whether they are there or not. Cheap overseas junk. It's all the same manufacturer with different names. DO…

They work well for GPU and Pi mods, but adhesion is terrible.

I used them along with NZXT Kraken G12 to modify my 1080 Ti Amp Extreme amp and I managed to keep the temps so low I was rightly surprised. Now my game maxes out at 55 degrees Celsius on maximum settings. The only negative I can say about this is that the adhesion is absolutely terrible and I spent about an hour tediously removing the OEM adhesive and replacing it with a double-sided thermal adhesive. Ribbon. This made a big difference because when I first installed it, a heatsink came loose…

Not bad, but not great for GDDR6 modules

Using all 8 on my GPU RX 5700. Using AIO with a PCB fan. Using self-adhesive thermal pad instead of hot melt glue. Modules do not exceed 100 degrees Celsius. Often found in the 70-90 degree Celsius range. Poor cooling of the memory module compared to the reference fan. I suspect the cooling isn't as good as hoped because the GDDR6 is a flip-chip module, which means the heat-generating silicon is closer to the circuit board than the top of the module's memory plastic cover. If I had attached the

Radiators are best for the mind

This is a product for the mind, not necessarily something I can test or see how well it works. I recently liquid cooled my GTX 770 with an NZXT G10 mount. and the older NZXT Kraken X40 AIO liquid cooler. The video memory only had thermal pads and wasn't connected to a heatsink by default, but I got them to make sure the card's durability and performance wasn't ruined by excessive heat, especially since I overclocked the card a lot. Installation: This was easy, although I recommend using a razor

Not bad but not great for GDDR6 modules

All 8 on my RX 5700 GPU use AIO with a fan blowing across the board. Using self-adhesive thermal pad instead of hot melt glue. Modules do not exceed 100 degrees Celsius. Often found in the 70-90 degree Celsius range. Poor cooling of the memory module compared to the reference fan. My guess is that the cooling isn't as good as hoped because GDDR6 is a flip-chip module, meaning the heat-generating silicon is closer to the PCB than the top of the module's memory plastic cover. If I had attached…

1080Ti with Kraken G12 mod

I ended up having to buy two packs for my graphics card but they are worth it. So, like many others here, I modded my 1080ti with a Kraken G12 water cooling mod with an EVGA AIO water block. Without a heatsink, normal games were fine, except I couldn't speed up my memory anymore. The highest temperature on the MEM I've had for gaming was around 83C. I've also recently dabbled in GPU mining and this is where I felt the need for these heatsinks. When mining without a heatsink, the highest MEM…

Reliability is good for heatsinks

This is a smart product, not necessarily something I can test or test how well it works. I recently liquid cooled my GTX 770 with an NZXT G10. Bracket and legacy NZXT Kraken X40 AIO liquid cooling system. The video memory only had thermal pads and wasn't connected to a heatsink by default, but I got them to make sure the card's durability and performance wasn't ruined by excessive heat, especially since I overclocked the card a lot.
