I bought this hose to use with a 16 gallon handyman shop vacuum. The extended hose allows me to vacuum large areas without dragging the vacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaner is behind me. It also makes it easier to vacuum the car or vacuum the leaves off the porch.

Very handy as I have a very large hose so I don't have to lug the vacuum around the garage. I put it in the middle of a 2 car garage and I can vacuum everything without moving the vacuum. I highly recommend this product. It comes with 3 different attachments for different handyman vacuum cleaner. Attach the appropriate fitting to the hose and you're good to go.

I have a 20 year old handyman shop vacuum with a kinked and twisted hose so I took a chance it would work as Sears no longer sells a part number. Thanks to the variety of attachments that came with it, I found the perfect combination. It was easy to attach the correct ends and install on the vacuum cleaner. I don't know how long this hose will last but I'm glad I have a replacement for the original hose and am breathing new life into my old vacuum!

Apart from the length the hose itself is identical to the hoses that come with modern Ridgid 2-1/2" wet and dry vacuums including very nice super flexible end sections. . This kit is identical to the Ridgid 20' hose accessories including all end adapters so buy whichever is easier/cheaper want to snap in and which end just friction secure - or if you have to, nick the end of your old hose.

My dust collector sucked the end of my original hose that came with the vacuum and ripped off the end. So I tried to find an OEM replacement. I suspect my vacuum is old enough to no longer be supported by OEM parts. So I went with you. That works great. The Craftsman hose set worked great and was a perfect match for my 10 year old Craftsman shop vacuum. Certain design improvements over my original hose, but it still kinks a bit compared to the factory vacuum suction. As a result, it gets stuck in the crease when trying to remove larger dirt. I would like to see a stronger hose construction for the first 12 inches near the inlet, but overall it's 10x better than my original hose.
