Description of ๐Ÿ”ฌ Creality Original 235x235mm Borosilicate Glass Plate for Better 3D Printer Performance

New Creality 3D printer Self Realising Glass Bed - Using a special microporous coating help release prints when the build plate cools, and there is no need to hack at it with the scrapper!. Prints stick firmly to the bed without any glue or hairspray. Just heat the bed to the temp you usually print PLA, PETG, or ABS, and the print will stick. Save time and hassle of wiping the build plate of glue, unlike normal Borosilicate Glass. The perfect 3d printers accessories for all Creality printers: Ender-3, Ender-3 Pro, Ender-3S, Ender-3X, Ender-3 V2, Ender-5, Ender-5 Pro, and CR-20, CR-20 Pro, or any other printers with a bed size of 235mm by 235mm. Super Flat for the perfect first layer - Unlike magnetic bed sheet or PEIsticker, which can be tricky when leveling and doesn't work at all temperatures. But the Self Release Glass Bed works fine with all range of temperature, compatible with PLA, PETG, and ABS. The Self Release Glass Bed is secured to the printer using middle-size clips available at all office supply stores and unlike Magnetic Spring Steel, PEI, BuildTak, or any other build plate surfaces, this bed can last a lifetime. If it's not sticking as well as before, give it a wipe with IPA alcohol, and it will work as new!!.

Prints Can't Stick

I can't stick prints to this new build plate without glue or hairspray. I've cleaned the IPA platform, leveled about a dozen times, tried different temperatures (60-80 degrees) and nothing helps. It seems they've started using a new coating (or I have a lemon) that does the exact opposite. I compared mine to a friend's build plate and they definitely have a different texture despite being the same plate (he was 2 years old). It feels more structured and holds up better. Mine is very smooth andโ€ฆ

Pretty Good Best Supplies for 3D Printers

I'm having trouble keeping my prints on the glass bed. If you have a case the print may stick better as it can maintain a warm temperature. Tape and glue stick work really well, but the ad says you don't need them. I tried 3 days to test the glass bed. No prints brought it closer to the end. I gave up and used masking tape or glue stick. With masking tape, sometimes the tape won't stay on the hot bed, and sometimes the print will stick to the tape. When using glue sticks it is sometimesโ€ฆ

If you don't like it, you're doing it wrong (I did)

I almost gave up on this bed but now I like it. stick with it. Tried to clean, tried different calibrations - nothing. Luckily, I kept reading and realized what I was doing wrong - not letting it warm up normally. The glass is thick and the contact between the printer bed and the glass is poor - so it takes much longer to heat up than the magnetic layer, so if you start printing immediately after the layer has heated up, the sensor is still too cold for the glass layer a liability.
