Awesome lights - reptiles and amphibians

I use these for my red Tuttle sliders. They may be small, but they do their job perfectly. They are very good and so far they have lasted a long time. I would definitely buy them again.

frugal: heat lamps

These are quite decent UVA/UVB lamps that fit my budget. I've bought this style more than once which means I'm very happy with them. I really wish they would last longer but they are cheap and they are incandescent bulbs.

Disappointed with heat lamps

Bought these bulbs for my Red Eared Crawler. Strongly disappointed. I put one on and after a week or two it showed up! I will use the other three and hopefully they don't do the same thing but if they do I won't be buying them again!

Inexpensive heat lamps and terrarium mats

I use them for the lamp over my softshell turtle swim platform. So far, so good. I'm still on the first bulb in the pack and its light is on for at least 12 hours every day. Very happy with this purchase. My turtle looks happy too. Really didn't expect them to have such a long life. Will definitely buy again.

Great Deal on Heat Lamps

This is a great deal on 4 Heat Lamps. They set aside a good heat for our turtle to warm up. Some types of lamps, including incandescent lamps, require special care when handling - if sebum gets on the bulb, it will burn out very quickly. We handled them with gloves and had no problems. You can't beat the price.

Great warmth and lighting

Great lightbulbs that I use for my turtle tank. Turtles love the warmth of incandescent bulbs, and an incandescent bulb provides excellent lighting. My only complaint was that one of the bulbs lasted about 2 months 24/7 and the other one I replaced lasted less than a month. I'll see how that third one goes, but I wish it was more consistent.

Cheap but very warm and high in UVA

Would like a higher rating. These lamps emit lots of heat and excellent UV-A, making your reptiles more active. The downside is how they are set up. A cheap solder is glued to the end of the bulb, which is melted by the heat generated by the light. Either set it up yourself or be prepared to buy lots of them. It would be great if a higher quality weld was added to the end connector so it doesn't melt.
