Unfortunately I'm only giving three stars

Unfortunately I'm only giving three stars as I'm a diehard fan of this brand and own many of their appliances but the quality isn't there. I bought this to replace a very similar but much older Cuisinart (I bought it on sale about 20 years ago). The old one still works but the handle on the bowl is cracked and the little plastic piece that snaps into place to lock the lid is also completely broken. With this new blade, the engine and overall feel are very similar qualitatively. It seems to have

Weaker than the old Kitchen Aid

Well it works. but not as good as our previous 10 year old Kitchen Aid. My wife had an old Kitchen Aid mug 11. She preserves/fills/recycles a lot of food so she used it a lot. Kitchen Aid lasted probably over 10 years and then last week the bowl broke and there was no replacement part so we had to buy something new. Based on the reviews, we chose this Cuisinart 11 mug. The pusher socket is weak, confusing, unhygienic and annoying

I have been using this model 11 cup stand mixer for 10 years now and swap out parts as needed and the base twice for a total of 3 machines in 10 years. I use it professionally on a daily basis (although it is labeled 'Pro' and advertised as 'for the cook', the warranty does not cover professional use, only home use.)
