So make sure you get the bumper bolts out first so an extra hand doesn't hurt. I did it myself and it wasn't the most fun I've ever had. Mine was pretty tight so if you have a rubber mallet or mallet it will help me line up the holes. I didn't think the order of installation mattered. It's absolutely true. As mentioned, the hardest part of the installation was fishing out the two bumper bolts with their oblong washers. Unfortunately, I've found that they can't be fished out without removing 1/2 inch from the shims (with an angle grinder).
