Awesome Extension best in Receivers

Very cool. Super durable and HEAVY. This will have a major impact on your receiver, so be sure to follow the maximum tongue weight guidelines.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • boring packaging

Very strong extension

much better than I thought. its weight is very solid. The smaller part that fits into the car's receiver is solid steel. 18" is longer than I thought so make sure you get a really long extension. This thing is sturdy and long. I'll save it

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • sad packaging

Quality element in receivers

This hitch extension is quality down to the tee, muscular! Unfortunately I had to go back as my wife was so terrified at the thought of towing our small camper with an extension she shouldn't have worried BUT I recommend if that's what you're looking for. Solid steel, I just wanted to keep it for carrying around but that would be a bit weird I think lol.

Ideal. Strong. Continuous. Exactly what you need!

Works great! I had no problems! Strong and sturdy, I have no doubt it will outlast my caravan! Note, however, that you will need an extra pin to secure it, and most likely extra chains and electrical wires due to the extra length this extension adds. They can be found here at Revain and are cheaper than anywhere else. Good luck and happy towing!

Very strong for receiver

I used to have one that I made to tow my 10 1/2 foot camper that is mounted on my truck. Recently upgraded to a heavier boat, so I was concerned that the old boat's entire hollow structure might not be strong enough. The part of this Curt that goes into the receiver is solid steel and seems pretty solid, but I needed another four inches of length, so I also ordered a Curt ball mount, which is longer than usual. Towed the boat over several bad country roads with no problems. Very happy with 2โ€ฆ

This worked for me! on towing products and winches

I was having trouble securing my small landscape trailer due to the short wheelbase which resulted in my jackknife breaking and damaging my truck. Extending my hitch 18 feet made it much easier to reverse without damage. Warning if you are purchasing this product you must also ensure that you are wired and your safety chains must reach from the trailer to your tow vehicle. I made this with additional purchases: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MCST726/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o01_s01?ie=UTโ€ฆ

Cons
  • low repairability

Really durable and works great.

Perfect for what I need it for. I have a short aluminum pannier that I bought here at Revain but it's a bit inconvenient with a ladder and spare tire. Since I'm moving I needed all the space on the holder so I ordered one to slide out from under the ladder in the tire. It was a bit of an exaggeration, I could have gone with less, but I wasn't sure. It's very well built, weighs a ton, could weigh more than an aluminum hitch holder. Don't forget to order or buy another clutch pin. That oversightโ€ฆ

This thing will be the last humanity.

This stuff is super meaty. The shaft, which fits into the socket on the vehicle, is made of solid steel. I don't think you'll ever need to replace this thing - it's a giant piece of steel. If you just stuck out your phone and someone hit you from behind, I think it would go right through the poor bastard's engine block. Not sure if this will work for my purposes - I'll update the review if I find out. I'm trying to use this with a hitch bed on an FJ cruiser - don't know if it's long enough forโ€ฆ
