HEAVY-DUTY TOWING. This adjustable coupler channel helps provide a heavy-duty towing connection between your truck and trailer. It securely bolts onto your trailer and is commonly used for construction, agriculture and military applications. ADJUSTABLE INSTALL. For a flexible installation, this lunette ring or coupler mount has multiple holes for easy vertical adjustment of the coupling point. The 7-1/2-inch channel allows for 3 distinct height adjustment positions. VERSATILE FIT. This coupler channel features an inside width of 3 inches and 2-inch on-center bolt pattern to accept a CURT channel-style lunette ring or coupler (bolt kit #48620 sold separately). TOUGH BUILD. This lunette ring / coupler channel mount is constructed from solid, one-piece, formed steel for superior strength. WELD-ON OPTION. This coupler channel comes with a raw steel finish to be easily welded into place and painted with the finish of your choice. It also features holes in the back for a bolt-on option (hardware not included).

Dispatched quickly, looks great

Dispatched quickly. Received the next day. Looks good. I've read reviews from other stations stressed when cornering. Visually, I could not see any stress cracks here.

Pretty good, I bought 2 because I messed up with the positioning.

Pretty good I bought 2 because I messed up with the positioning and welding of the first one. The only thing that looked wobbly was that they both had small stress cracks where they originated. Still seems solid but I was able to walk away without cracking the metal.

Seems ok but a bit messy.

I welded it to a piece of 1/2 flat plate to bolt to the trailer. Nice solid piece of steel but the short hitch I bought to go with it was a little sloppy from side to side in the channel. Since these two products go together, I think they should go well together. This is the only reason I dropped from 5 stars to 4 stars. Looks like a good setup. Let's see when I pull the full trailer.

When I put the bolts in place they didn't tighten to the point where the fitment was good and tight

The back edges of the duct are rounded so when welding on a flat plate, it is necessary to fill the rounded edge with a weld. When I put the screws in place they didn't tighten to the point where the assembly was nice and tight. The overall width of this part should perhaps have been a bit wider. To fix the problem, we install the washers and try to tighten them. All in all I would buy another one if needed.
