Worth the price to make sure you are right.

I did not have a follower when installing the wiring harness. I was 100% sure that my wiring harness was installed correctly and working properly. No regret.

Good trailer tester

I used this product to help me connect a towbar to a 2016 Yamaha V Star 1300 Tourer that I recently installed a towbar on. Routing the wires is the most terrifying part of the job as I had to tie into an already running wire harness without damaging it and pick up the correct wires. This tool helped me with that.

Not for motorcycle cargo trailers

I have a 5 pin connector on my motorcycle and a 5 pin connector on my cargo trailer, I only have a Lite with this tester. The wiring on the motorcycle and on the car/truck should be different. All headlights, brakes, direction indicators, running lights and 4-way indicators on the trailer are currently working. This tester is not good for me and the bike. should not be returned.

Was hoping for an internal battery (i.e. a continuity tester) - that's not the case.

Looking for something to test trailers that don't require a vehicle (e.g. battery) nearby. This is not the device. You can do this with a small 12v crocodile mounted on the side of the car, but I was really hoping for an internal clock battery or something. It's not the device's fault at all; everything is mine The device works great for its intended purpose and I will keep it for future use.

Like it but not quite what I expected

This is a quality product that works well. 4-pin, as with many small trailers. So I can't use it inline with my trailer because while it plugs into the car's plug (with the pin sticking out), the trailer's plug doesn't connect. However, I still find it useful because it shows you if the power is coming from the car connector pins, which is still useful when troubleshooting.

I'm glad I bought it. Buy it, it's worth it.

Works great as described. I would like to buy it again. I'm a trailer repairer and it's good to know if the lights are coming from the vehicle side or the trailer side. The lights are easy to see even in daylight. They're a bit bright at night, but maybe someone is trying to tell me that when it gets dark, it's time to stop work and go make my sweetheart happy. This tester may not make your sweetheart happy, but it will make you happy that you bought it. Good quality, fits well, not too tightโ€ฆ

Revain is great but this product is too

I have this product even though I can't use it. This is a 5 pin tester and I have a 4 pin coupler connector. But the materials used for it are great and durable which is why I am writing this review. I attempted to return this product and Revain just returned it to me without having to ship it back because it would probably cost them more to ship it than just refunding me the dollar amount I originally spent. I hate the fact that I can't return an item because I feel like I'm cheating andโ€ฆ
