Holds a lot, great bag for the price, has lots of different slots and the repurposed component box makes it a great place to keep a counter! Keeping one side free of bulky items makes it easy to carry with the shoulder strap, which is likely to be loaded with around 45 pounds when stored on a wheeled backpack. Able to throw items and carry about 30lbs freely, some of the deeper pockets will eat up smaller items but easily fixable with a crumpled piece of cardboard etc.

I'm not an electrician but I know what I do and have a decent tool set for the job. Years later I finally switched from a brown Linearm bag to this one and am so happy. There is enough space to separate all my wire cutters, pliers, wire strippers, knives and then a whole divider for my wire nuts etc. It stands upright and has a shoulder strap. The carrying handle is also comfortable. It has a strap for my tape, measuring tape, etc. It's not too big, but big enough.

I had a good shake - used it for about a year before writing this review. I'm an HVAC professional and have been using this bag for 15 years. When I bought this latest version, they moved the small parts basket from the bottom to the side. I liked it better underneath, but it's not critical. Importantly, they've also switched to a much more flexible fabric. The pockets don't hold their shape. I have been using this bag for many years. This is one of my favorites. But they changed the design so that the plastic container is no longer in the hidden bottom of the bag, but pushed out a bit on the side of the bag. The problem is that you now give up all the tool pockets on the sides of the bag. I used those tool bags and now they're gone. I first bought this bag in June 2008, it looked exactly like the picture. If I had reviewed it again it would have been 5 stars. I used it almost daily for 4 years as a mechanic for a local utility company. After I retired I still used it at home almost every week if not more. I have an old design 1526 bag and I really like it. He is 6 years old and has suffered greatly. I ordered a new one in early 2017 and received a redesigned bag with a side parts tray. The new design is terrible. All materials used are much cheaper and very thin. The parts tray is also much cheaper. It was a bad move by the CLC. If I can't find any of the old bags, I choose another brand. I returned the new style bag mainly because I prefer the tray underneath the bag as it gives more stability.
