Wear eye and face protection. NO JOKE

The pictures speak for themselves. I will throw these away. Cutting discs are unsafe in my opinion. I've tried 3 or 4 of these and got the same result every time. You will cut well, and as soon as you step on the metal everything will come off. Even when the angle grinder is on and not cutting metal, the disc kicks crap off of them. Goggles saved my right eye, but a face shield would have saved my face two scratches. I am an experienced locksmith and should have known better to shop super…

What's new: These blades cut things

I bought a box of fifty of these baddies for about thirty bucks or so if I remember correctly. I pop them in my handy angle grinder and spin them at a billion rpm with no fuses (they get in the way). I've only cut my finger once and these cutting wheels didn't even notice, they are so hardcore. I also have a 16 inch friction saw, but these things are a lot thinner and cut a lot better, so I prefer them, just stay away. So far none have exploded, so this is proof.

they explode. Frequently.

I really wanted these based on other reviews and the cost per disc but unfortunately I can't say which I like. I use them on a Dewalt angle grinder and recently replaced the floor in the rear of my Ford 93 due to rust. They were instructed to remove both the donor plate and the rusted plate from the bed. They cut through 18 gram sheet metal, often jamming and exploding. Luckily, I used a guard to keep the shrapnel from hitting me, but I found shrapnel more than 30 feet from my work area. I…

Good hand grinder blade

I have used about 200 of these blades in the workshop and in the field. About 1/3 of the time I'm cutting mild steel and the rest of the time I've been using oil field tubing. Oilfield tubulars are made of harder steel. I have used many domestic and imported discs and they are as good as anything I have used before. I recently moved, remodeled and reinstalled the cattle shed and feed chute. I made the gate out of mild steel and oilfield tubing. I switched to these discs from a router many years

Not for fittings in power tool parts and accessories

I bought these against common sense because when I see a good deal I'm like a zombie who needs to get it. I bought it for $22.99 after reading so many positive reviews. But that's where it ends because they cut 5/8 inch rebar slower. It may not be a valid comparison to Diablo DBD045040101F, but Skil 9295-01 took twice as long to cut as Diablo did with Drill Master's cheap Harbor Freight 60625. Maybe good for softer material like PVC or thin metal, it's tough and strong, but it seems there is…
