Best blade for power tools and hand tools

I cut 15 steel fire doors with one of these and it could still cut through an 80" wood door. The fire doors had 1/4 inch steel studs and he blew through them too. This particular blade and style cannot be matched in terms of performance. This is the best multi-purpose blade

Pros
  • Laser cut stabilizing ports for reduced vibration and precise cuts
Cons
  • No automatic

Best clean cuts with blades

Can't comment on durability but my first impression is that the Diablo blade cuts better than any of the six or more blades I've had on my still Drink. . The slot is narrow and works perfectly. The first cuts I made were in machined 2X4s. Does not suffocate and does not burn. Only quick and clean cuts. I expect the Diablo Blade to be better than what I've tried before.

Pros
  • Fine kerf for quick clean cuts
Cons
  • Expensive

These Freud blades are blades that can be bought

They are more expensive than the cheap blades I have always bought but they cost many times more and they convinced me no more buying cheap crap. They cut MUCH better and easier, last much longer and make more precise cuts with ease. Literally a pleasure to use. No more burning wood, blunt and twisted blades, lousy cuts and irritations!

Pros
  • Product is Diablo 7-1/4x24T blade
Cons
  • Discontinued

Cuts hard wood like BUTTER!

You couldn't ask for a better saw blade. Makes a cheap cut like a million bucks used to because it works fast with plywood, 2X8 studs and yes, even hardwood. I unknowingly ran it through several 2" staples and it slipped through them with no hesitation, leaving no nicks on the blade that I could find. Great blade!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • New competitors are here

Clean Cut: Blades

I have nothing bad to say about this blade. I'm impressed with how smooth and clean the cuts are. So far I've used it to repair a chicken coop; This involved cutting 2x4, plywood and pre-made panels. Plywood and paneling are cut without cracking at the bottom and without damaging the surface. With a 2x4 saw, the saw is very controllable and the wood will not burn from excessive heat. I wouldn't use this blade for cutting or shaping, but I will use it for almost anything else.

Pros
  • Tough, micro-grain titanium carbide for razor-sharp cuts and long life
Cons
  • Vanish

Great blades with great durability!

These blades are awesome! I'm buying some supplies for my construction company and these blades are just what I was looking for. They cut wood like nothing and even after so many uses it doesn't crack or break. Pros: Fantastic durability! Cutting of compressed wood and boards. Definitely recommend for home use or heavy construction work. I will be buying more blades in bulk.

Pros
  • Permanent Perma-Shield coating prevents sticking and corrosion
Cons
  • Modern

Saw blade too thin to fit on my circular saw

I have an old handyman circular saw (ancient you might say) and this saw blade doesn't fit - it screws the saw blade all the way down - had to put a washer on the blade shaft , but not sure if it is secure, the shaft outer washer with a square alignment hole failed to hook the flats on the shaft due to the washer on the saw side of the shaft. This blade is REALLY thin, so thin that I find it can twist when cutting pressure treated 6x2 lumber, especially if you're hand cutting without a squareโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Laser cut saw blade for precise cutting
Cons
  • Doubt
