I've read all the reviews about them wearing out too quickly, but I really think technique matters: miter saws run at much faster speeds than regular hacksaws, and at the same time they can go through square tubing .125" thick in a jiffy. , I prefer to feed it slowly and carefully, be patient and it lasts a long time but cuts faster than a chop saw.

I bought this blade to resize a metal turning tool to fit the holder. This material was made from Chinese steel of unknown hardness. I purchased this blade for a custom bumper project. I didn't want to cut 3/16 sheet steel with grinding wheels so I decided to give it a try. I knew this blade wouldn't last long. To my surprise, I finished all the cuts I needed. Towards the end, however, it got boring. I used cutting fluid when trying to extend life. I'm not sure how effective that was.
