That grip wasn't strong enough for my only lever.

This handle was not strong enough for my single lever shower handle (can be used on sink faucets) which broke within a few days of use. However, Danco has a one year guarantee and will be replaced free of charge with another single lever handle of a more durable type. (5 stars for service)!

Pros
  • This product contains 1 pen of the same type.
Cons
  • Quality

It is better to buy a higher-quality device from a specialist retailer

The pen broke after two uses. The weak point is where and how the set screw is on the base. You, the set screw and the handle, are two connected parts. I have changed this grip 5 or 6 times in 7 years. It is better to buy a higher quality retail lamp. I spent the equivalent of the cost to replace this pen. Bad design.

Pros
  • Ideal for self-repair of the faucet to "like new" condition.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Cheap but you get what you pay for.

This thing broke in the same spot after one use as the last one broke after decades of use. The return wasn't worth my time and it easily gets stuck at this point. I glued it on with gorilla glue (non-stretchable) and it works fine. I did the same with the old one. I just assume they will break regularly at this point and now I have a backup as I taped the two together. Attached are photos of the new and old.

Pros
  • The clear acrylic construction of this product provides optimal durability.
Cons
  • Hard to say
