No power, does not work as described. It doesn't have enough power to do what it was originally designed to do. I always leave product reviews. I think it's important for customers to look out for great products and be wary of inferior products. I would never buy this twice! That does not work!

I bought a fan and the water in my aquarium has dropped 4 degrees. I chose one with two fans (this one). even though it works, it only lowered the temperature by 1 degree, only 5 degrees. So buying a Dual changed little. Not only that, these fans are a bit noisy. For now they work, but I'm currently checking other options.

I have a standard 37 gallon Petco tank on hand and this fan's snap-on base does not fit over the rim. I think this only works on an aquarium with no plastic rim to sit your hood on, or only one with a very narrow one. and cool my tank. I returned it.

During the mid summer in San Diego, my aquarium got to 86 degrees. Instead of spending a lot of money on a cooler, my friend recommended this product. I attached this fan to my sump and my 90 gallon tank was consistently 76-78 degrees. It has 2 settings so you can set the fan to low or high speed. High settings are a bit noisy, but nothing serious. 100% corresponds to the price. I also see that this product needs to be replaced every 6-8 months due to salt corrosion.

UPDATE (November 4, 2021): Excellent customer service. The seller sent me a replacement free of charge. I hope this continues but I will update if we have another crash within a year. Well I really wanted to like this thing. It worked, it worked well, but in less than 4.5 months one of the two fans failed. I'm not sure how long any other fan will last. Next time I'll look for a more industrial cooler.

Will last a tank war, not meant to be a cooler either. There is no temperature control, it just connects in sequence. It is a very quiet, durable and smooth-running fan. I put it on a stream of water to cool the water in a goldfish/koi aquarium. The only problem I have is that it doesn't fit the rim of the tank like I was hoping. When I received it I immediately said that the material and construction was cheaper than the description. The fan does not allow you to raise the fans straight or further than straight with the bracket as shown incorrectly in the pictures. Another bad design feature is the fact that the tie bolts are INSIDE the unit so they face the water rather than in the more appropriate inverted design. Maybe include this in the next batch or make pilot holes on either side so it can be used either way…

The "width" of the snap-on part is listed and is smaller than the rims on my 10 gallon and 40 gallon tanks. All 6 of them. They have typical rims. The plastic fan-to-tank connector is non-adjustable and non-flexible - if flipped it will break. So measure well before you buy this. I could use wire cutters on the plastic part of my tank but I don't think I need them. I would comment on the "value" of the fans but they are still sitting on a shelf somewhere so I guess they have no value to me at…
