The alternator has a crack in the connector where the lead tail connector won't stay and they charged a return and restocking fee, if i read the return first before i buy this product

Assuming it was brand new I installed and 2 months later and $2,500 later I'm still having electrical issues with charging starter battery modules, regulators and diagnostics that was her new POS. Stay away. I should have read all (90%) NEGATIVE reviews

Needed replacement for my chevrolet avalanche z71 alternator. And have some experience in car repair. I replaced the alternator, serpentine belt, and belt tensioner for less than the labor cost alone that a rebuilt model would cost. This is also a new generator!

I've been a mechanic for 15 years. This generator is a piece of junk. tension everywhere. I contacted the manufacturer and they said you didn't buy it from us, call Amazon. Don't waste your money. rather spend a little more and get a bosch device. I'm sending it back today.

Excellent. big! I had to sand the alternator a bit as the spacing between the brackets was too tight. Otherwise no problem. Anyone who complains about the "whistling" of the generator should understand that the old generator was not up to par (charging). It's been a long time since my caddy rolled over so quickly. because the battery was not fully charged! I'm a happy customer! 😎😎

Update for 9 months. Generator stalled after 9 months. Loading process finished. Also, the bearings are already worn out and have started making a lot of noise. Called DB Electrical (1 year warranty) and as others have posted they say "Call Revain. You didn't buy it." Revain says this is a manufacturer warranty and that DB Electrical should be contacted. This was my last purchase from DB Electrical.

I ordered all the parts to assemble. And when I came to put old. And other components. Old did not charge out of the box. They said they wouldn't replace it if I didn't pay for shipping. He offered to order a second one and then come back. Made new according to instructions. worked 30 minutes. Then stop loading. I just don't see the quality in these units. I hope they give me a return label. Otherwise I would not recommend these generators. This is just my opinion.
