Faulty Transmission Mount - Avoid DEA

The transmission mount from DEA Products has been quite a disappointment. As my automotive tests showed, it couldn't withstand even moderate vibration and STARTED to deteriorate within weeks of using it... The only positive aspect i can mention is the easy installation process. On the negative front this product is cheaply made and doesn't hold up to any level of wear and tear. I would suggest avoiding DEA Products completely for transmission replacements..

Problematic Transmission Upgrade

As a result of using this automotive product, I found that it did not improve the performance of my vehicle's transmission like it was advertised to do. In fact, it caused excessive vibrations and rattling in my car, making for an unpleasant driving experience. However, the only positive aspect of this product was the ease of installation. I would not recommend this transmission upgrade to anyone looking to upgrade their vehicle's performance..

No more vibration issues

At this point the fit and quality of this mount seems on par with the more expensive delco OEM mount which is also made in China. I use a Dea mount under a 4L60e on a 4th gen V8 Camaro with polyurethane motor mounts and suspension bushings. At high speeds, significantly fewer harmonic vibrations are transmitted through the cabin than with standard polyurethane transmission mounts.
