DECKER 10 Speed Blender Black BL2010BP Review

A must in every household. It can be used to grind spices for making masala as well as for making smoothies. I liked it very much. Updated 4/7/2018. After 3 months of use it broke and stopped working.

I bought this for the price because I needed a blender to complement my Nutribullet. Hot liquids should not be used in the Nutribullet, but once the product has cooled slightly it can be placed in a blender. The mug is plastic, it's not my first choice but I decided to buy it anyway. It's great for my hot granola and soups.

I make a lot of smoothies for the gym and my NutriBullet turned out to be a piece of Sh$#@^&%*!. Right now it's working way better and better allowing me to do way more and keep it in the fridge or freezer for my next workout. Much easier, faster to keep up with simple cleaning.

As for mixing, it does its job. My only complaint is that this blender doesn't have a safety feature. In other words, the mechanism that makes the blades rotate rotates even when the container part is not on the base. I almost got my fingers caught in the turning mechanism when my little one pressed the button when I wasn't expecting it. Be careful. Otherwise the thing works perfectly.

I bought this in March and apart from the fact that it jumps on the counter when I mix it I'm quite happy with it. Til today. I try very hard never to be overly negative in my reviews but this is without a doubt the CHEAPEST AND PRICELESS piece of equipment I have ever used in the kitchen, both professionally and at home. The blender motor started smoking and smelled like burning when blending smoothies after 1 month of very moderate use. Since the purchase I have used it about 6 times, just mixed fruit and juice, there have been no particular problems. This happened 2 days after Revane's return policy so nothing to do here.
