Easy Installation: - Power tools and hand tools

The grinder motor worked well but the velcro on the grinding head did not hold the grinding wheels. This simple swap involved removing four bolts, removing the old head, attaching the new head to the frame and securing with four bolts. Head alignment is easy and I was able to use a grinder again in less than 30 minutes.

Check your grinder model before you buy

I haven't checked my model to make sure it's the right part. This is not for my B&D grinder. Its my fault. However, it is suitable for a simple mod. If you make the same mistake and realize you don't use the raised rings on the back. Then, if the holes are still the same, just sand them down with four screws and pins. Now it works fine.

  • Best in Niche
Cons

Now holds a sandpaper wheel but sands unevenly.

Not sure if this is an installation issue, I don't know as no sanding attachments were included but the sander now seems unbalanced and sanding unevenly. I couldn't find anyone who has parts for my grinder so looks like I'll buy a new grinder but a different brand that sells parts locally.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

I had to use an old notepad that barely held the paper.

I had to use an old pad that barely held the paper to sand down the burrs in the middle to make it lay flat. If I didn't do this, the dust collector on my grinder would be practically useless because the dust would be ejected outside the gap created by these combs. The foam is noticeably stiffer and poorly balanced, causing it to vibrate much more than the official part. Despite everything, it works and is actually more durable (including the velcro straps).

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some little things

So one day you got an orange grinder from Walmart.

That's it. They will NOT fit until you start modifying the roller and grinder. Step 1. Get a grinder or grinder or something that will remove the 2 protruding rings on this new velcro replacement part. Step 2. There are 4 screws, remove them. and expose 4 holes and 4 dowel pins. Pay special attention to the black plastic piece that sits on top of the grinder. You can dig it out by lifting the edges, or take a razor and cut out the middle. If you were paying attention, the black piece is very…
