Works great with my Mac laptop. This required a dedicated Lightning to HDMI connector, but these are readily available. The problem I had was getting the stand off. When I saw the video I solved the problem. I highly recommend this product.

I use this monitor with my Macbook Pro. For some reason it is slightly larger (in height and width) than another monitor I have from Dell that is the same size, but I'm fine with that. I use this monitor as a secondary monitor for an Apple MacBook Pro (Retina, 13" Mid 2014). It connected directly to the HDMI cable, the MB recognized the monitor immediately and started working as a secondary monitor. Great looking monitor. People writing bad reviews because there are no speakers/height adjustment/or swivel. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Monitor speakers are complete garbage anyway. If you need a camera for photo editing, look elsewhere and be prepared to spend more money. This monitor is great for everyday use.

Now these are standard and standard monitors for our entire family of companies. I wish they had DVI instead of VGA - VGA should just die. That being said, we have no complaints about the brightness, color or refresh rate. on this. They're not very pretty, but they're very reliable.

NO INTERNAL SPEAKERS Some reviewers incorrectly refer to speakers. This model has no speakers. You must order external speakers to connect to your computer. This monitor does not have audio jacks. I have confirmed to Dell's tech rep that this model does not have speakers. Dell does not mention internal speakers in its product description. The picture is excellent, good HD! If you want sound you need to make a separate purchase!

So we read all the reviews on this monitor and found that people are complaining that it turns itself off. We read the description of the monitor and it was said that it is energy efficient. After doing our research and checking all the settings on our computers, they don't turn off at all. These are the best monitors we have bought three of, hope this helps.

I'm a weird guy, I like having different resolutions for a reason, but that depends on the quality standard of the monitor I want. This is what the product promises, for which I have to give 5 stars.
