The cable is too short. - fairy lights

I built a big village with 30 buildings around my tree. I figured the 6 bulb leads would reduce the number of plugs and make things look neater. The problem is how short the cord is from the outlet to the first light. Be prepared to use an extension cord for each one. I have returned the ones I ordered and come with a Lemax cord with 4 bulbs. The Lemax cord is 3-4 times longer to reach the extension cord, etc. Also, Dept 56's lightbulbs were too long for some of my Lemax buildings. I've seen…

Don't expect to use it in the 56 department

I've been waiting to use this product this year. Totally difficult to use. The brackets holding the light are too large for the openings in the Division 56 Christmas Village and impossible to remove. The clips are very uncomfortable plastic. I expressly do not recommend this product. My cord was torn into small pieces for removal from the cottages. You'd better set fire to your money and use it to light up your country houses. I don't think Revain will allow this review as it is both negative…

Perfect for Christmas Villages

I have several villages in different locations around my house and every year it gets more and more difficult to install lights for each one and then tie them all together with several extension cords and extensions. This article is the answer to my prayers and hopefully yours too. Now you can connect 6 houses at the same time with one cable. Where has it been all my life? No more crawling on the floor, no more scrambling to make sure the lights are working, and no more trying to hide multiple…

Fantastic help in building a village!

This is a big help in building a village. I also bought one of three socket sets to cover everything I had in my small village. They are suitable for Abt. 56, as well as for Lemax. Now I have everything hooked up to 2 power splitters with no problem, and the splitters are connected to a power source that is remotely controlled. One push of a button turns on my whole village this year. I couldn't be happier! I've attached a photo to show the largest gap I have between two houses. In the picture…

Village Lights Missing with Daisy String

I was so excited when I found the daisy string lights for my village but I could NOT use them. Excited, I ordered six sets, so they are all at the bottom of the box. The idea was very good, but the design was lacking. The "chain" of lightbulbs entering each village building to illuminate it is too close together. The buildings are at an angle to each other, but even if I wanted them to just line up, there wouldn't be enough space between them. An unused lightbulb has caused it to "warp". My…

Price varies, so check before you buy

If you own Dept 56's rustic decorations, you probably know that their bulbs are slightly different than those you can buy at your local discount store. I prefer all my bulbs to be the same color and tint, so I try to buy genuine Dept supplies. 56 if I can. Also, their onions are blunt on the ends to better fit the rustic pieces. And I don't really know much about the quality of electrical cords, but they seem to me to be more durable than some of the other types on the market. This is a real…
