🐶 Derby Originals Dog Coat: Premium Protection and Style for Your Pooch Review

I like this coat and how easy it is to put on. The back length is perfect but the chest/belly band is very tight. I have to find a way to extend it. For this reason I have to give it less stars as it needs to be changed from my side.

Great blanket! Strong stitching, velcro and thick quality material. Slightly large but as I bought it as a 'sleep' jacket for our dog it works (I bought XL for our doberman, I think L would fit just as well). In addition: Thanks to the double buckle, it sits securely even with a slightly larger size and does not fall off. I can only recommend :D

Perfect coat for my pup. I bought him a little bigger so he can grow into him. Easy to put on as I don't have to put his legs through the holes. It is simply pulled over the head and fastened under the chest with Velcro. Keeps you dry in the rain and very warm in the snow. It feels like a small toaster after it comes in and I take it off. Highly recommended. Especially if your dogs don't like sticking their paws through the hand holes.

My dog wore this while hiking where it was up to 8 degrees at night. She used to climb into her sleeping bag or snuggle up to me and I would cover her sleeping bag. In this coat she slept perfectly over the blanket and sleeping bag and never flinched. In other words, this coat is worth buying. This keeps them really warm and dry when we are in the country.

This dog coat has a lot to offer. The measurement instructions let us choose the perfect size. The color is great, the fabric washes easily and the construction is very durable. It is stylized as a horse coat and looks amazing. The only thing that isn't perfect is the velcro that keeps the coat around or on the dog's chest. The velcro is only a few weeks old but is losing its hold; in my opinion too early. However, I would buy it again if needed.

Good I really wanted this coat to work but it just doesn't work. I have a 1.5 year old dog. When I measured it, it came in 3 different sizes. L neck, XL girth and XXL length. I ordered XL as many said it was large. Well that wasn't enough to cover her from the back so I ordered an XXL. The length was better but the neck was much lower than the XL and the girth was too big.
