I wouldn't recommend it for people without strong hands - it won't come off!

Tight Lock. I'm not strong enough to take them off. There are 12 pieces in a pack, so the price is good. But I prefer softer plastics that are easier to remove. If I have to get to the water inside, I want to take the cap off the bottle. They fit our 3 liter jugs. I can't say if they fit all sizes. I'll try it with a large flathead screwdriver and a rubber mallet since my burly husband went to work.

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Nothing Here

Open with a lighter like a bottle of beer

If you know how to open a beer bottle with a lighter, you can easily remove these caps. At first I hated those caps that you can't just remove with your hands. Just find something flat, wide and thick and these caps are easy to pry off. For example, in a hurry I used the flat bottom of the stapler. A better tool might be a metal shoehorn. Get creative while you can grab the edge of the cover and pull it out from under the device. And avoid sharp objects. I don't know how long they will last as…

Slight inconvenience on some bottles.

I have 2 different 'brand' bottles that I fill and need replacement caps: Sparkletts and Primo. These caps fit Sparkletts bottles very well and I haven't had any leaks. BUT they are difficult to remove from the bottle when needed. They are much easier to remove from Primo bottles. BUT they don't close completely and if I put them on their side during shipping I get a little leak when I put them upright again. For the price and the amount you get ($8 for 12 when you buy) I still think they're…

Great reusable replacement

We recently switched to a bottom loading water cooler and no longer need the disposable caps we used to buy. They are not fully waterproof and will drip a little when carrying water jugs to our second floor apartment by the handle, so I wouldn't use them if you keep your jugs on the side. Otherwise we are very happy with it. They're secure enough that I don't have to worry about water leaking from the upright jugs on the way home, but they're not too difficult to remove to put the jug in the…

IMPOSSIBLE to remove

This is the most difficult removable cap I have ever tried to remove from my refillable gallons of water. I have the largest bottles of Primo I've bought at Walmart. Someone else here said it was easier to get away from the Primo bottles, so I figured they would work: WRONG! I CAN'T. TAKE. YOU. OUT. Very disappointed. I don't have anyone with enough strength to pry off these covers. You need to pry them open with some metal (knife, flat head screwdriver). I haven't tried it, but I suspect water

Pros
  • Great design

  • Some bugs

Works perfect! good for sports and outdoor activities. Accessories

These caps work great under REASONABLE conditions. After years of paying for 5 gallon pitchers of water to be delivered to my house, I'm fed up with all the delivery errors, price hikes and ridiculous "fuel surcharges". My local grocery store has a machine that dispenses water at a much lower price, so I decided to get my own 5 gallon bottles, these caps, and give it a try. but the liner doesn't seem entirely necessary. These caps allow a few drops of water to seep through. Carrying the pitcher

Pros
  • This is amazing
