🔒 DEWALT 643772-00 Safety Guard Review

My DCG412 grinder is the same as other people who have asked and answered questions. This grinder has an "innovation" in the form of a thumb lock that allows you to quickly twist and release the guards. however, this does not allow him to work with this type of anti-pinch protection. 643772 is NOT compatible with DCG412 if you have a Generation 4/4 model. Like a techie we had the exact same issue Bought for 4011 and returned Instructions don't give part numbers and we'll have to cut See factory. came with no packaging... just bubble wrap. would match dwe4011 but looks like the compression ring holding the lugs welded upside down. measured but fitted back to front...the lugs for attaching to the coffee grinder aren't in. This place made me think better of Dewalt

I have another angle grinder and I wasn't aware that it came with a Type 27 shank (for angled grinding wheels) instead of Type 1 (this one, for straight cutting wheels). I bought this because another user said it worked with him and because it was a hassle to get it from the manufacturer and lo and behold it works. Does not fit dwe4011. Doesn't look OEM. There was no packaging to suggest it was made by Dewalt. In fact, it didn't come in a box but in bubble wrap. It would fit the dwe4011 but it looks like the clamp ring holding the lugs was welded upside down. It's as if the replica factory that made it took the measurements but put it back together. It looks like it would work if you didn't have Dewalt's quick connect mechanism, and appears to have been engineered well enough for a homeowner to use.

This is a Dewalt Review 643772-00 Guard. Actually fits and works perfectly with my Porter Cable PC60TAG 4 ½" angle grinder, like it did not come with a cut-off guard. This is a type 1 guard designed for cutting and grinding with an angle grinder. The material is very durable and I couldn't imagine how it would break with constant use. I also like how easy and quick it is to use as it has a clip design to hold it in place (until it comes loose when I use it). I wish it was.) Nothing to complain…
