This does NOT fit DCG412 Type 4
My DCG412 grinder is the same as other people who have asked and answered questions. This grinder has an "innovation" in the form of a thumb lock that allows you to quickly twist and release the guards. however, this does not allow him to work with this type of anti-pinch protection. 643772 is NOT compatible with DCG412 if you have a Generation 4/4 model.
