A Game-Changer for Tile Cutting!

If you need a reliable blade for cutting porcelain tiles, this is it! The DW4762 blade cuts smoothly and cleanly, leaving no chips or cracks. The continuous rim design makes it perfect for precise cuts, and it works well with both wet and dry cutting techniques. The blade is durable and can handle tough cuts without losing its edge. The only downside? It's pretty expensive compared to other blades. However, if you are looking for quality, this blade is worth every penny. A must-have for any…

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting due to its porcelain material
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other types of saw blades

If thin cuts are required this is your blade

I have some cheap diamond blades; They are suitable for floor tiles where the cuts are hidden under the main slab. They do not give a clean cut on porcelain stoneware without chips. When I was tiling the shower with 18" porcelain tile, I needed a blade to make clean cuts. This blade did just that. Cuts like butter. The DeWalt blade isn't cheap, but it's cheaper at Revain than the big department stores. and free shipping Highly recommended.

Pros
  • XP2 and XP3 blades with laser cut expansion slots prevent blade warping due to heat build up
Cons
  • Out of style

There is also an imbalance problem.

Disappointing - the blade is coming back. The old blade (that cut hundreds of pavers) actually has a cleaner cut with fewer chips! Not sure if this is a manufacturing issue or product damage caused by mishandling stock vibrates (old blades don't). I made 6-7 cuts on a tile before progressing to a good tile and the cuts are only worse on the new blade.

Pros
  • Premium XP2 and XP4 die means XP2 increases standard blade life by 2x, XP4 increases standard blade life by 4x.
Cons
  • Expensive
