Worth the price of saw blades, parts and accessories

Took out 1/2 x 1/2 strip of spruce to trim door lights. The old blade dulled and burned the wood. When I used this blade the wood seemed to cut itself. I was amazed at how smooth the edges were. Nice blade, cuts well.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Negative Gift

Great for cutting red oak railings

I was trying to cut red oak railings with my old table saw - I had to use force and the cut ends burned off. I then searched the internet and found that this blade was recommended. This blade cut through red oak like butter and the cuts were perfect.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • No automatic

Buy a saw blade for a specific job

I like this saw blade. I used to use a multi-purpose blade, but now I switch blades every time depending on the needs of the project. I've had a dedicated Tear Blade in the past and it was of much lower quality than this one. It also leaves cleaner cuts than my old one which allows for better adhesion.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Big and bulky

I'm out of step here

Not sure why this disc is not working on my Dewalt table saw, other Dewalt GP discs have been fine. It hardly breaks through when sawing New Zealand softwoods, although you have to push the boards to get them through the blade. The cut quality is about the same as other thin kerfs (very average). Just for comparison, I have a thin and full Diablo kerf. The cutting quality of this blade is similar to the fine cut Diablo, but the cutting capacity is lower.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Works well, ideal for copying

Cuts great. Very sharp. I've only used it for sawing pine and oak, but had no problems here. Not suitable for cutting corrugated plastic roofing, but useful, the gaps that allow the wood to break free when ripped doesn't make the plastic cut as well. Works very directly. I had an issue with Hitachi blades not being perfectly straight. I didn't measure the blade, but cuts are visible from a straight blade. Made in China

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Frequency
