🔧 Enhance Precision and Convenience with DEWALT DW7231 Miter Saw Mounting Brackets - Large Size Review

I got a good discount on my DWS779 probably because it is no longer made. As many of you may or may not know, this is the same saw as the DWS780 without the XPS Easy Cutting System. In any case, I needed crown bar stops, and while my model isn't listed, it works. I have attached pictures. Hope that helps.

I have the third set of these staples. On another stand I still have the old version that I bought before this new one. The old one works fine. In the new version, the safety mechanism fails, putting you in a much more dangerous situation - trying to detach a bracket with both hands without dropping the saw from the stand! Dewalt, you can certainly do better! Can this be fixed?

I bought this for my Dewalt DWS779 12" sliding arm miter saw. Although they are suitable for a saw, you cannot cut a large crown. I needed them specifically for the 7 1/4" crown. The hold and hope method is unreliable and unsafe for a nested crown of this size.
