🔧 Dewalt DW745 Table Saw Fence Assembly Replacement Review

$65 for this?! overpriced because of the demand when you break yours, not because it's well made or the materials are expensive

Have you ever lent your tools to someone and returned them broken? (Well, well, that's how it was when I took it!) Now I have another, not broken.

Being plastic the tips are fairly cheap (the plastic nuts broke on the original) but lasted over 10 years. The new one is exactly the same, I hope it lasts more than 10 years.

Needed for my table saw after accidentally breaking the plastic tip on my damn old one. I can't believe it's almost 1/4 the cost of a table saw, but it is what it is. I need a fence, don't drive around it. I won't break this one though, I'll be extra careful now that I know it's worth an arm and a leg. It fits perfectly and looks great so I'm a happy camper. Thanks again.

This manual works great. I don't think it should cost more than $12. It's a complete rip off and the plastic parts are cheap plastic. If you drop it once it will break. This is my third DeWalt table saw. My team makes it from job to job and we've dropped the rail twice so far. It broke twice. I can only surmise that DeWalt intentionally makes this part so cheap that it's an insane amount of money to replace it. About 1/3 the cost of the entire saw to replace this thing is ridiculous.
