Dimensions are not the same!

Dimensions in the product description make no sense at all! The length of 34.25" is correct, but the other two numbers (5.88" x 4.13") make no sense. The width is actually the same as the width between the front legs is closer to 20 inches and the front height is about 30 inches (the back height is adjustable, which is a nice feature). It would be helpful to have step-by-step assembly instructions rather than just a photo of the finished stand, floor assembly is recommended , holes are provided

This is a regular stand that fits the Dewalt Spiral Saw

This stand is fine. From reading the negatives the main complaint seems to be that it doesn't fit properly with other saws. I don't know about this one, but it goes perfectly with the Dewalt saw. However, it is not very stable. It comes without legs, just bare flat metal with holes to attach it to the floor. If you want to lock up that baby, this is a good roller coaster. My tripod was delivered today. It looks just like the picture and is probably a good stand. My crate was missing ALL the fasteners that I can replace in the field. According to drawing and assembly instructions. At the top of the rear post is a small sheet steel semicircle which, together with the two top horizontal posts, supports the saw. This piece is also missing. I can't do it myself! The box arrived undamaged. However, the inner yellow DeWalt packaging has clearly been opened at BOTH…

There are probably better solutions for your scroll saw.

I bought this DW788 Spiral Saw Stand. First, let me say that I know the instructions that say it's meant to be bolted to the floor. I think that's a bit unreasonable for most people. Then again, I now know why DeWalt recommends it. Because it's not very stable. It would be better to have 4 legs rather than the "tripod" that DeWalt designed. The materials are good, it fits easily, it looks nice, the finish is nice. But the stability is not okay. Is working. It just doesn't work very well. And…
