This thing is a heavy beast and is best suited for big jobs. I used it to remove very old super hard window putty that was so hard I couldn't pry it open with a screwdriver or spatula. That scraper blade sank into the putty like butter. I had to re-caulk thirty 11" x 12" porch windows and it saved an incredible amount of time. And not a single glass cracked.

I liked this blade because of the thicker material used in its construction. Others I've had are much thinner and tend to break under heavy use. Not this type, it should be able to withstand many hours of use removing sealant from caulk and other sealants. Because it's thick, it can also be easily sharpened, resulting in longer-lasting effectiveness. A bit pricey but the quality makes up for it very well.

Used to remove a 40 year old worn 'rock hard' weatherseal from a Tutor style home with hundreds of yards of worn old weatherseal. It took me 2 hours to create 10 linear feet in the usual razor/scraping/gathering way. I can walk 10 linear feet in about 4 minutes with this blade. It works so well! NO damage to existing cedar boards and I can even remove the sealing underneath the boards. Absolutely incredible tool and the price is amazing for how much time it saves!
