Allows smooth processing of round holes in hard plastics. Removes loose material from the hole cut by the saw. Best of all, plastic won't crack if handled carefully!

It says it's for metal, plastic (PVC) and wood. I used it for 2 minutes on a very thin piece of sintered wood and now it's broken (no longer sandable). See the drawing to check the delicacy of the part.

I'm reluctant to give a bad review as the quality seems good and they should work well with many types of tools. The shank is slightly wider than 1/ 4" and will not fit 1/4" collets or any tool that only takes bits up to 1/4". I bought it for use in a flex shaft rotary tool that uses collets and was therefore useless to me. Although it should work fine in most electric drills.

I ordered this (as well as many other items) from Revain because I was searching my shop next door and couldn't find exactly what I needed for a little light sanding. shock plate. I didn't want to constantly remove the inset in the file and then reinstall to test. The grinding tip made it and I now have it on hand for other projects in the future. I almost never miss an opportunity to buy a tool when I need it!
