An emergency happened on a trip: I forgot my charger! So I ordered it delivered to the nearest Revain locker. So yes it does charge my laptop but not like the original that came with it. This is kind of weaker: the connector falls out of the side connector a lot, and the cable is very easily disconnected. Does not correspond to the original standard. But again: IT WORKS.

Adapter no longer works after 3 months. I called support and was told repeatedly (>4 times) that the return period is 1 month. I asked at least 4 people during the phone call, which took up an hour of my day, to tell me to just agree that the product would only work for 3 months. Again, after 8 minutes of waiting, as a special, one-off exception (!), I was told that they would replace it with a new one. Forgive me if I'm skeptical about getting it.

I could pay to have it repaired or possibly replaced but the cost, deteriorating condition and lack of a charger for the time it takes is not worth it. Buyer Warning.

I have a refurbished HP laptop that won't charge anymore; Bought this compatible 65w AC charger and solved the problem; The battery is now charging and is fully charged. [This may be an old charger that was defective; it is an ideal alternative to replacing old batteries.]

I have confirmed that it is not an outlet and cord attached to the power supply. Now it only works sporadically and I had to get a new power chord from my company's tech support.
