In the beginning it was amazing.

The blade was very impressive at first, but after only 5 cuts in 2" x 1/4" flat steel it was no longer impressive. The cuts were made over a 2 hour period, not even consecutively, and on the sixth cut the wheel started to work like a normal grinding wheel. When it worked, it cut steel easily, but not for long. waste of money.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities

I have read all the reviews I could find for this knife.

Read all the reviews I could find on this blade, watch videos on Diablo YouTube. I've used it to cut 26 1"x1"x24' 11ga st 11" at a time doubling the tube and the blade worked very well. It still cuts very well. I use an Ironton -Northern Tool dry saw I will definitely buy another one.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Negative experience

Waste of money, does not last

The blade lasted about a month with 30-40 cuts in steel. I like Diablo in general, but I won't buy it again, it's rubbish. Evolution blades are much better. I've used an Evolution blade for 4 years and probably made over 400 cuts and the blade still cut and it was their blade to cut anything. From now on I will only buy Evolution blades for my hacksaw. I'm not picky about blades either, I babysit the blade and let the blade do its job.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Slightly dented

I know this is what the DIABLO brand lacks.

I'm an amateur, I bought the blade because I was thinking about a home project, karting. I didn't use the blade for about 5 months after I got it, covid19 project, I got a 1 inch chromoly .58, the wall cut like butter, the first 15-20 cuts after that I noticed more Force was needed and the tube was getting too hot so I checked the blade and apart from the missing teeth the rest was rounded. I'm very disappointed, I followed him. Instructions on the video provided by the company.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Poor instructions

NOT FOR ABRASIVE CUTTING SAWS!

I think a lot of the bad reviews are coming from people using this dry blade at low speed (less than 1800rpm) for abrasive sawing. If you do, you're wasting your money. YOU WORK FAST! I've made hundreds of cuts with no problems. Fast, cool and almost burr-free. In addition, you must properly attach the various material profiles, otherwise bad things can happen. I also changed the pulley ratio on a Dewalt belt driven miter saw to use a 12" Diablo metal blade with great results.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Nothing

Great metal cutting blade for the right saw.

I have an Evolution cut-off saw with a non-abrasive blade. This works great, requires very little deburring after the cuts. We've used two of these for 2 1/2 years building custom builds with no problems so they get used a lot. Anyone who says they dull quickly is probably using this blade on a saw that is over-revving. Grinding saws run at a higher speed so replacing the grinding wheel with this is a terrible idea and I hope you wear body armor and a face shield if you do so.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design

Very fine kerf and quieter running

Because the kerf is slightly thinner than other saw blades I've tried, it cuts less steel and therefore runs a little quieter and faster. I can't explain it, but with the other blade I used, after the cut I had to wait for the blade to stop before letting the saw blade come back. This was necessary because the other blades would be expected to scratch the steel while still in the vise, and this scratching hurts the blade while it is still turning slowly. This blade allows me to lift the saw…

Incredible cutting blades

I'm fed up with that blade on the new Evolution R355 I bought from Revain. Sure, the blade that came with the Evolution was great, but it was an all-purpose blade that cut through iron, aluminum, wood, copper, and plastic. I wanted to try a pure iron blade. After using Diablo in my wood workshop for many years and being very happy with the results, I wanted to try their Iron Blade. I made a square cut on a 1/4" piece of pry bar. Unbelievable. The cut was as clean and smooth as the face of a…
