Many of them are inexpensive.

This appears to increase the price of assorted packaging. I was building a bike with a 2-stroke engine and needed to clear the rear fender for the drive chain. After exhausting the abrasives in another range I came across this listing. One slice and you're done. Twice I felt better and life stayed on one record for more projects. Too bad I didn't find this suggestion in the first place. The price for a disc does not bite.

Pros
  • cutting wheel diameter: 25 mm/20 mm/16 mm; Mandrel diameter: 3.0 mm.
Cons
  • Functionality

Good value for money - short life per wheel

I was laying large format (4' x 8') tile in my kitchen and had to make some tricky cuts to accommodate the channels. I used a wet tile saw for long cuts, but I needed a smaller tool for inside cuts. At Lowes, a Dremel brand diamond wheel was $26, so I was surprised to see 30 wheels for less than half the price. These wheels don't last long. I have about 8 inches of effective cutting per wheel, but since I only had to cut 4 or 5 tiles this set was perfect for me.

Pros
  • Suitable for most rotary and pneumatic tools.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Worked with hardened steel where drills failed.

I needed to remove a cracked pinion shaft and stop screw inside the differential case, and the only way to do it was to dig through the thick hardened steel of the complete pinion shaft after the broken stop screw used lots of titanium, cobalt, and carbide bits . I have used them in combination with diamond coated crowns. Great progress was made with these rotating cutting discs and allowed me to excavate a significant groove that allowed for the definitive use of hole saw bits. It took about…

Pros
  • The diamond cutting wheel is sharp and durable, suitable for cutting gemstones, glass, ceramics, porcelain and ceramic tiles.
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Cool little wheels!

I'm trying my hand at stone carving with a rotary tool and bought this set to add to the small collection of diamond burrs I now have and I'm very impressed with them! I haven't worked much with rotary tools, just a bit of cutting, sanding and polishing 3D printed parts, and I've never used cutting wheels on rotary tools. So I don't have a very firm hand and struggle to keep the cutting tool on a straight path. Despite my lack of dexterity I have not broken any of these wheels and although I…

Pros
  • It can get very hot when cutting. Adding water can extend the life of the diamond blade.
Cons
