🔌 DiCUNO Splitter Standard Extender - Enhanced Durability & SEO Review

We needed extra light from an overhead light and it only had 2 sockets. The fixture wasn't big enough to easily fit into the existing lamp sockets, so I added flexible lamp extensions and moved them out of the way to fit the extra bulbs and add length. And it worked great: twice as much light. It was easy and avoided replacing an expensive ceiling light.

Put these splitters in 2 single bulb pendant lights with led bulbs and it worked great for making rooms brighter and staying under power consumption. One fixture was a hanging lampshade and the other a glass star. I've been careful to get smaller bulbs for enclosed fixtures and they look a lot better. A great and easy way to reduce the cost of replacing a light fixture with one that has more outlets.

The small copper sheets inside this item are so badly placed and cheap that when you screw in a lightbulb or adapter, the negative contact either: 1) twists and touches the positive contact, causing short circuit and trips the room circuit breaker, or 2) open circuit. Tired several times to set the contacts unsuccessfully. I bought two (2) of these and both are now broken and unusable.

This is very convenient and perfect for me because I wanted to use wifi light kits and my ceiling fan only has one socket and I wanted to use two lightbulbs instead of one and this product works great for that, what I need it for and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who only has one bulb socket and wants to use two bulbs instead of one

I wanted to split the outer cornice. Couldn't figure out why it couldn't screw into the lamp socket. As a result, I realized that the neck of the light bulb fits into the cartridge, and on this splitter the neck is a little short. I ended up having to use an extension cord and then screw the splitter in. Problem solved, except the bulb (and its weight) is now 4 inches farther from the socket than I intended.

This is great. I needed two but they only sell in pairs so I have one left. I've been using them on an outdoor (indoor) light for a few months now and they're still holding up very well. I wish there was a way to rotate them once they are screwed into the mount. It's a little different when the bulbs are rotated a certain way, since they're twisted. This is a great product when you need extra light. I use it in the garage and in the attic. This gives me a lot more light than a single bulb and I don't have to do any electrical work to add another outlet. I like to use bright white LED bulbs which make them really bright in both cases. The only downside is that the corner of the base that the bulb screws into makes it difficult to use in certain places. I had to remove the glass cover to get it working in my garage. It's worth the ugliness…

Only 1 of 2 packs works as described. Only one lamp lights up on the defective splitter. Tried 4 different bulbs and 2 different sockets. 1 works fine but on the 2nd only one light is on. So not a good price when you have to buy 2 to have one that works. Update (a few days later) - I was about to throw out the faulty socket and took a close look at the 2 connector plates(?) in the non-working socket. I don't know what they're technically called.
