Dietz Filler Cap Black Review

This sleeve doesn't fit my little magic lantern. He was a little big. I found a cork from a bourbon bottle that works so far.

Not suitable! The left one is what I needed (from another old Dietz flashlight I have) and the right one is what I got. The threads are not deep enough or strong enough.

I knew I had a Hong Kong Dietz flashlight and used it when hiking. But when I received the hat in the mail, it didn't fit. Just upside down.

These caps are amazingly expensive wherever you buy them. However, note that this item will not fit American made Dietz lights as they are slightly larger than 3/4 inch. They probably fit the lanterns that were produced after the Dietz factory was relocated in 1956. 13/16" if I remember correctly. These can be pressed into D-Lite or Blizzard (#2, not the new version, #80), but you'll need to use pliers to unscrew them. If yours Flashlight "Ditz USA) on the tank, look for caps elsewhere.
