Anyone know how to wire this thing up? The photo shows one direction the other and neither one nor the other does not work.

Yes it works. But the screws don't fit (universal, yes). Remember to mention the floor, but don't grant it. The instructions are simple. Edit, it's already broken. replacement required.

The image in the product description clearly shows the fuel gauge bracket but item not included, sent back and reordered thinking it was a mistake, no bracket anymore! was very misleading and had to order the bracket separately to complete the job. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars

Installed sensors and sensors on a boat with clear tanks. Easy installation, but the tank is 3/4 full, just over 1/2; the tank reads about 1/4 empty. I adjusted the length of the transmitter and float to match the instructions. Is there a way to customize this? After a day on the water the right hand tank went from full to just over 1/2 but the gauge stayed at 3/4. Not very helpful, am I missing something? Also, the screws didn't match the plastic tank so I had to replace them with hidden metal

I ordered two of these sensors. The first read 80 percent completely. After about a dozen uses on my desktop prior to installation, it stopped registering. Nothing, dead. I ordered a second device and it behaves the same way. He read maybe 90% instead of the whole. Both gauges appear to be fairly accurate near zero where it really matters, but you'd still expect a gas gauge to be accurate at both ends of the range.
