I use it to clean the fleece in my guinea pig cage. Works perfectly. I suggest getting additional filters as this can get messy pretty quickly.

I don't understand how this product got such bad reviews. I only bought it based on the good reviews and I think the reviews below are definitely paid reviews. The main issue with this item is that the front of the vacuum is very loose and has caused me to fall on my feet many times trying to get dust off the floor. So be careful when using this item. A few weeks ago I wasn't surprised when I saw this product in a recall at my local Walmart.

I have a cleaning company but needed a small handheld vacuum just for crevices and my own home. The suction was so strong that I was amazed when I tried other handheld vacuums and they weren't as powerful as this one. However when the crevice tool broke after just a few uses I was disappointed as I can't find a replacement and I don't want to spend another $30 on another while vacuuming! But even the air vents on either side spit back half the dirt! Holy smoke. Do yourself a favor and get it. While I'm not crazy about the "shoulder strap," this little guy gets the job done. I've used it to clean my car, which has two active, dirty kids who obviously can't get fries in their mouths, and a long-haired Nordic dog whose only reaction to anything is to "put it down immediately." Better than any car wash cleaner. The crevice tool removed any crumbs from the shifter. I don't even know how those crumbs got there because it's not prime real estate.
