When I tried this automotive part, I was impressed by its performance. It has incredibly proved to be reliable, sturdy and powerful during use. The product is both affordable and durable, a great value for your money. The only drawback I found was with the instructions provided; they were quite vague and required some extra research. Nonetheless, I can definitely recommend this product for anyone searching for a high-quality automotive starter/alternator.

Installed on a 2001 Mercury 150HP Saltwater 3 cylinder suspension system. It was a direct replacement and installation was easy. We used the existing two screws. The engine had a new O-ring but no hardware. It has worked great so far and seems reliable. We'll see how it handles saltwater over time as we rinse it out after each outing.

I bought this mercury coated motor on 11th August 2011 and it has lasted less than 2 years. It's rusted to the point where water gets in and won't work unless you hit it with a hammer. The original trim motor lasted 13 years. I called to see if they would do anything and the answer was no. I asked to give the manufacturer the number and they said that this is a foreign company but after asking twice they didn't give me the number.
