Love, love, love for this system! The investment was absolutely worth it. I used it for both the floor tiles and the rectangular "wooden" ceramic wall tile in the bathroom. I couldn't be happier with how well this product works. A piece of advice: you will definitely use more parts than you think, so buy a big box first!

Oversized travertine on the ceiling and walls of the new shower room and 12 x 12 travertine on the bathroom floor. Easy to remove and the balls stable can be reused. Will not work with tiles again unless I use this system. Work looks professional. Recommended to my family and friends.

Be careful when using ditra! I have been laying tiles for many years and have also used other systems with great success. They are difficult to break off and several porcelain tiles (12x12) broke off. The tiles were installed a little over 24 before being removed. Out of 65 sq ft, I had to remove and reinstall more than 9 sq ft of tiles because the connection broke during the removal. I also had to cut about 15 of them as they didn't break off. I used 3/16 spacers FYI.

We tiled our bathroom floor using just a spirit level. We had a much larger area for our kitchen and chose these, hoping they would minimize edges and create a nice, level floor. They were very easy to use and worked much better at minimizing overhangs than the wedge based system. I will say that tightening the leveling caps sometimes increases the distance between the tiles. I would also use tile spacers to ensure the spacing between tiles remains even. Overall a great tool for large tiling…
