Not Compatible with 2011 Silverado 1500 Extended Cab

The Dolibest car door stand looks very well made and the locking mechanism concept is excellent as it completely surrounds the door latch. Unfortunately it doesn't work on the 2011 Silverado 1500 Extended Cab as the locking mechanism is only designed for use with a round latch while my truck has oblong latches (see pictures).

Simple Strong Vehicle Step

I'm sanding and painting my pickup truck's cab roof and was having trouble accessing the work area from the side, so I took this step. It's pretty damn easy to put on. Just open the car door to see the U bracket installed there. Slide the built-in step hook onto it, press down so the triangular plastic pieces are against the door frame, and that's it. It's strong, reliable, and easy to step into. It holds up to 400 pounds.

Simple and solid. Easy to use.

It's a solid little step to get to the roof. Simple design with some adjustments to balance the profile during use. I used this on my 2014 Chrysler Town and Country. Sometimes when loading things onto a roof rack or just my van it helps to get a little higher. This step will take a few seconds to attach to the driver or passenger door jamb. This will not work on the sliding door jamb, only on the front doors of this vehicle. I'm 225 and it has held up with no issues. I tried it on my wife's…

Works and gives extra height but not as reliable

Tested on my minivan to get extra height and it works. It connects the driver's and passenger's doors, but doesn't work with sliding doors because the door hooks are at an angle. In use, it supports my weight well, but I felt it wasn't as stable as I had hoped. It wobbles when you move, which doesn't give you much confidence and reduces your stability, but it sticks to the car well. If the steps at the bottom of the wall were wider, maybe it could be sturdier. It may be easier to use a chair…

Works best with vertical doors

We have a Kia Telluride and the shape of the rear door opening is more sloping than the front due to the rear wheel arch. I tried every setting on the back but the step still wasn't level. This is workable, but in this position most of the weight is on the rotating plastic part which puts a lot of pressure on the shutter body. I stepped on it to check it out and it gave me a very stable and high step that gave me full access to the roof of the car. This has left a tiny imprint on the car's body
