Fast, Easy to Use, and Effective

I love the fact that I can prepare this to be used in less than 10 minutes. Just fill the jug with water and ice, wait about 5 minutes (or less) for water to be chilled. Attach it to the cuff and it is ready to go. Once the cuff is full of water detach the hose and you can walk around if needed, but I recommend sitting with the injury properly elevated. After about 30 minutes you can drain the water back into the jug then refill the cuff and it is ready to go again. I have been able to use this

Pros
  • Very helpful in my recovery. Easy to use and very sturdy.
Cons
  • May require help from another person to use effectively

Deceptive picture and restocking fee.

This item is not the one depicted in the preview thumbnail or the first photo (that one is with a power cord and a different model). I returned the item and was charged a restocking fee despite this fact.

Pros
  • My son is very happy with this
Cons
  • Can be uncomfortable to wear for extended periods

Provides great relief from pain and easy to use.

Must have after surgery, swelling or pain. You can buy cuffs for different part of the body, i.e. Knee, shouldher, etc. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Works great.... works as advertised.....I use it all the time....no problems with it....
Cons
  • May not be effective for long-term pain relief

Great ice machine on my review.

This has been life changing for my partial knee replacement.I don’t know what I would have done without some kind of ice machine. I could not live with out it for the first month after surgery and I am so glad I bought it. After more research after surgery I have found machines that continue to move the water around your knee. If I had known that I would have paid more and gotten it but at the same time this was definitely worth the lower price and works to keep the pain and swelling Dow for…

Pros
  • Very Good
Cons
  • Useless. Will not afford comfort and no one needing the device could possibly use on their own

False Photo Advertisement DO NOT BUY

The photos in ad for this purchase are for the motorized unit which is what I thought I was getting. The unit I received is non-motorized with gravity feed that really doesn't work well

Pros
  • This is our second one. We have used them on both my knee surgeries
Cons
  • Buy the model with a recirculating pump

Excellent product in my review

Do not buy this product without without the air cast unless you already have one, otherwise you are wasting your time. Excellent purchase for injury and surgery recovery. I ruptured my achilles and this helped relieve swelling and discomfort.

Pros
  • Bought to use after knee arthroscopy-worked very well. make sure you have plenty of ice on hand
Cons
  • Takes time to reach target temperature

Gravity fed vs. Motorized version

The product performs as described HOWEVER, if you are really looking for a significant benefit, it’s worth the money to purchase the motorized version. I had the motorized version before (which I lent to a friend whom never returned it. a-hole) and I loved it.Great brand and products, overall. The big issue I find with this gravity fed version is that it never quite gets cold enough, because of the pack of auto-recycling of the ice water. If your down to lift it up every few min, I guess it…

Pros
  • Best product for any one that has pain and needs cold therapy
Cons
  • May be too cold for some users

Recovery essential on my review.

I lived in a cuff for 2 weeks after shoulder surgery and this is a must have! Not as cold as a freezer pack, but always there and easy to use.

Pros
  • I LOVE IT
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other cold therapy systems

Satisfied with this product!

I like the non motorized verson of this type of product better than the motorized one I borrowed from a friend. I accidentally purchased a smaller knee cuff. It has worked as well as the large one I tried initially & have not had to change the ice/water as often. Once every 24 hours!

Pros
  • Fantastic for aching joints and swelling.
Cons
  • Requires assembly before use

A Must Have After Knee Surgery

I love this so much. It keeps ice water cold for a really long time and that helps reduces swelling and pain. It’s simple to operate because it’s a simple gravity system. I was given a fancy electric circulator system at the hospital but it didn’t help nearly as much.

Pros
  • Great idea for swelling post surgery when one isn't provided.
Cons
  • Not suitable for all body parts

I was not satisfied with the coldness of this item. In the early days after surgery there was a lot of pain and swelling of the shoulder and bicep area and the cryo-cuff was not helping with the pain. My homemade ice pack with water and rubbing alcohol in a 1 gal zip loc bag was far superior. Later on after swelling was down the cryo cuff was helpful.

Pros
  • Easy to use. Makes "icing" easy.
Cons
  • May take up too much room in a refrigerator or freezer

Unable to answer adequately, since I was not able to use it.

I did no like nor dislike this cryo-cuff system. I was not able to use as directed due to a post surgery complication. That was the reason for the return.

Pros
  • Better then ice pack
Cons
  • Risk of frostbite if not used properly

Excellent ! on my review.

I Love the Cyro Cuff being i broke my Tibia Bone and tore the Quadricep Tendon with knee dislocation this thing right here is what everyone needs to buy, it was super fast shipping and i would indeed buy from this seller again.

Pros
  • Stays cold for hours so I don't have to climb stairs on my bad knee to replace it.
Cons
  • Can be messy if cooler leaks

Really improved my recovery time after surgery

I had a multiple issue complex ankle surgery involving 3 tendons and 2 bones. I had had some smaller surgeries prior and had swelling and significant pain for months/years after so I was really dreading it. Using this unit 20 minutes on and off all day for the 8 weeks I was non-weightbearing made a huge difference. My re-hab went great and my surgeon was stunned by the speed of my recovery. I also purchased the ankle attachment for this unit. It provided excellent pain relief and the…

Pros
  • Great product and eas to use.
Cons
  • Difficult to clean and maintain

Great for pain and swelling

Great for ACL reconstruction recovery. Saved $75 over what they would have charged thru md office for only cold therapy device. Doesn't leak, just a few drops left in connector after disconnect.

Pros
  • Nice having a second cooler for work. It has really helped my recovery from knee surgery.
Cons
  • Cooler may leak if not properly sealed

Excellent product for icing injured knee

Have already recommended this product to several people suffering from knee injuries. I was originally recommended it by two other people that swear by it. It makes icing your knee on and off for hours very easy. But if you have a knee injury you will need to have someone do this for you because you can’t hop along on crutches and carry the bucket (at least I have not been able to). Highly recommend. One thing to consider is that it comes with a silver metal disc. It wasn’t clear that this part

Pros
  • Found it to be an excellent made product and the price was very affordable.
Cons
  • Cooler and tube assembly may be unsightly in public

Great, for arthroscopic knee surgery.

A number of friends had highly recommended this product to assist my recovery from arthroscopic knee surgery. When I asked my surgeon and his PA, they both said I wouldn't need it, that it was more appropriate for a knee replacement.IN MY CASE THEY WERE WRONG. I wish i had purchased it immediately, but even five days post surgery, it significantly reduced my swelling and pain. I used it almost every night for about three weeks ( and sometimes during the day) Excellent product!

Pros
  • Delivered prior to expected date. AAA+++
Cons
  • May not be suitable for individuals with mobility issues

This really worksh and is really cold.

I’m highly satisfied with this product. After having knee replacement surgery, I had to ice my knee frequently, and it was much easier not having to continually get ice packs.

Pros
  • Good product
Cons
  • All parts were not included. Connecting hose not sent

Don't be deceived--the picture is NOT the right item.

This product pictured is NOT what you get. The picture is of a much better model with a pressure pump handle that allows for auto-recirculation and doesn't require the cooler to be elevated. I paid $45 (+$20 for 4-day shipping!) for a tube and a cooler with a hole in it.

Pros
  • Ice is great!
Cons
  • May cause discomfort or irritation on the skin
