Very good socket, the best of the accessories

This replacement socket has a good design and the wiring is very long, making it easy to install in place of a broken one. Looks like it came from the factory and fits.

very good product! - Replacement Parts

I have a 2005 Silverado. I burned out the rear brake pad. I bought this product and it fits perfectly. very easy installation. There were even 3 shrink tubes included. now my brake light works fine. You may struggle a little, but that's okay.

Works perfectly. Fits tight. It will eventually go in with a little light pressure.

I had to insert the socket carefully. The three locking pieces on the socket match the hole in the lantern cover, but they are not easy to install/install. Gently push the nest in, eventually it came up. But when you first get it, you'll no doubt have a "hey, this socket doesn't fit" moment. Be patient. You can push it in gently. Nothing will break. Also, no wiring instructions are included, so I suggest you only connect one wire at a time. Align the socket parallel to the other two sockets…

This works with replacement parts

I installed this on my 2005 Chevy Silverado. The great thing about 3175 bulbs is that they almost never fail. The bad thing is that the device holding them fails. I would rather buy a lightbulb than a lamp any day. So be it. If you are a purist, don't take this. If you want something cheaper than buying a whole suspension from the dealer and don't mind getting it or modifying it a bit to make it fit easily, you're fine. I've just installed them, so with all the rough motion and impact that goes
