Just like GM. but cheaper

Half the price of an original screw. This is necessary when changing the timing chain on the GMC Terrain. Tighten these bolts to yield point.

If you are looking for a cam sprocket bolt for a Cobalt SS 2.0 Ecotec engine THIS IS NOT A REQUIRED PART. In the photo the correct screw on the right is Cloyes 95496, you need 2.

Owners of vehicles with a 2.4 liter GM Ecotec engine or similar 4 cylinder Ecotec engine will need them for all major engine work.

These bolts are yield point bolts that must be replaced with new ones every time you remove a camshaft secured with this type of bolt, such as GM in various vehicles. When tightened to factory specifications, they will stretch to the point where they can no longer be used. These Dorman bolts are well made, readily available and cheaper than buying OEM bolts from a dealer. They are sold in packs of two screws - both are required. Don't risk engine repairs.
