Dorman 746 362 Acura Honda Actuator Review

LOOK AT YOUR FIN! I accepted and made a fool of myself. I bought the wrong one and paid the price of having to disassemble and reassemble it twice. But it works for UK CRVs, I don't know what year, but for my wife, a 2003, it fits perfectly. Just be careful and watch the video about the process.

I went through two of them in the last month and a half. I thought the first failed actuator was an anomaly so I just returned it for another device. The 2nd block lasted 1 day! At least the 1st block lasted a week. Buy an OEM part, don't try to save $50 by buying one. The time I wasted removing and installing the door panel is more than worth the money. The door lock on the driver's side of my 2005 Acura MDX didn't work, so I couldn't unlock/lock the doors remotely. The drive was replaced, now you can open/lock all doors again. On a positive note, I've become an expert at disassembling Odyssey doors. This actuator lasted about 3 months as did other customer parts. Failure mode - spring. It slips out of the latch and when it does the whole mechanism gets stuck. You can't even lock the door manually. The first time it happened on Sunday evening.
